Hi! I'm a fun-loving vegan living just outside of Chicago. I live trying new things, going new places, and learning about different places, cultures, and ideas. My time out in Boston turned me from "midwest meat boy" into "environmentalist, liberal, east-coast vegan" and believe me that was a good thing :) Living in a co-op out there was the best move I could have ever made. Learning from 30 people who were all so very different was such an eye opener for a kid who lived in the same house in the Chicago suburbs for 18 years. My views are pretty extremely liberal, and I hardly see eye to eye with our current government. I recycle. I drive a Prius. I care about my friends deeply, and am always trying to go to dinner or to see a play or something with them...or flying halfway around the country or the world to hang out with them :) I also just bought a condo, hence my participation in the Student Houses blog!
